About Modern Bedu

Modern Bedu is a space dedicated to perpetually living like a traveller.

Sure, we embrace taking those random Fridays/Mondays off work to go enjoy a long weekend somewhere new. Or spinning the globe and deciding to blow your annual leave on a trip to wherever your finger lands.

But we’re also all about bringing those travel memories to life when you’re home. Drawing design inspo from those sunsets on Waikiki Beach, that whitewashed home you drooled over in Mykonos or the exposed-brick interiors of that hipster cafe in Berlin that you spent an afternoon Snapchatting chilling in.

In short, we’re a space for travel stories, tips, pics and ideas designed to feed your wanderlust when you’re home and away. We’re a bad influence like that.

About the Editor
Modern Bedu is the brainchild of Sydney-based (for now) writer, Rebecca Haddad. She spends her days browsing Google Maps, eating Nutella straight from the jar and trying to use her SLR camera as more than a hipster accessory. Her love for window seats on a plane is second only to spending summers in Lebanon, where she always forgets to go in for that third awkward cheek kiss.
